CIP is looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for helping elicit change in the lives of young adults on the autism spectrum, with ADHD, and other Learning Differences. Our Brevard Center is currently accepting resumes for a Part-time Van Driver/Job Coach. The employee in this role will split time between providing CIP students with transportation to and from internships and job coaching.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Transports students to and from their college, internships, appointments, and apartments as necessary, using CIP vehicles.

Follows the transportation schedule provided by the Head Student Advisor and Program Director.

Notifies Supervisor of any repair and/or safety issues concerning the College Internship Program vehicles.

Provides any other transportation of students as necessary.

Collaborate with Career Coordinator and related staff for the purpose of supporting lesson plans and/or developing students' vocational skills

Serve as a liaison between employer & student, working to identify areas requiring additional training on techniques and methods for maintaining solid work habits

Advise students in job search skills for the purpose of informing them of employment and career options

Monitor students' performance in a variety of work sites to ensure compliance and safety

Other duties as assigned


Associates degree from an accredited college or university

Two or more years of related driving experience

Experience and/or exposure to job placement/career decision and direction orientation skills training

Experience in the field of autism and/or learning disabilities preferred

Strong values and interpersonal skills

Charismatic, motivational and professional personality

Excellent verbal, written, and time management skills

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid State Issued Driver's License and willingness to submit driving record and background check
