ALSTOM has an opening for a Human Resources Manager at our Melbourne, Florida location. As a Human Resources Manager, you will provide input and assist Director, Human Resources in planning, guidance and execution strategies to reinforce and maintain a positive corporate culture in accordance with corporate standards. You will:
+ Respond to employee questions, concerns and inquiries.
+ Serve as HR Business partner for assigned operational Departments and/or Units.
+ Manage the HR processes related to specific functional areas within HR as required/assigned.
+ Insure compliance with all state and federal employment related statutes such as EEOC, non-discrimination, record keeping, etc.
+ Investigate employee relation matters and recommend appropriate actions.
+ Ensure full compliance with ALSTOM EHS policy for all physical ALSTOM locations
+ Actively coach and counsel managers in people management practices.
+ Manage HR programs/practices to complement the achievement of long term strategic business objectives.
+ Travel to other Alstom sites, customer depots, as needed.
+ Monitor and administer performance management programs and corrective actions.
+ Ensure adherence and administration of all HR policies, procedures, guidelines and operating and measurement systems.
+ Monitor, participate in and drive workforce planning and recruitment activities.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
+ 5 to 7 years of experience as HR Generalist or HR Manager
+ Previous experience partnering with Engineering and Project Management strongly preferred
+ Must have ability to work autonomously
+ Able to work in an international and multicultural environment
+ Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor laws
+ Strong computer, HRIS and Microsoft Office skills
+ Must have the ability to work with people at all levels within an organization
+ Strong communication skills
+ Resilient and able to deliver in a demanding and changing environment
+ Strong planning and organizational skills
+ Ability to properly handle confidential and HR sensitive information
+ Flexible, open minded, fair and balanced judgment
