Responsible for ensuring that all aircraft maintenance records are up to date.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Maintains clear and concise source document files to include, but not limited to, FAA Form 8130, Life Limited Component Cards, and Aircraft Flight Logs.

+ Responsible for the distribution of the standard operating procedures manual for the Technical Records Department.

+ Reviews and enters data into the computerized maintenance tracking system from source documents.

+ Ensures the filing system and records retention of aircraft maintenance documents are maintained.

+ Provides leadership, instruction and expertise for the Technical Records Department.

+ Assigns tasks/projects to the Technical Records Specialists.

+ Provides research support to both in-house and remote facilities.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Education Required**

High School diploma or GED


+ Associate's degree from an accredited university or college.

+ Some aviation related courses/college training.

**Skills and Experience Required:**

+ Four (4) years previous aviation records maintenance experience.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office.

+ Excellent office skills to include maintaining and organizing files.

+ Flexible with excellent interpersonal skills.
