Quality Assurance Technician - 2
**PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician 2 for an open position in Melbourne, FL.**

**Job Responsibilities**

-Performs a variety of highly complex parts/product inspection tasks and/or evaluates manufacturing processes and procedures following the Quality Management Systems/Procedures and Workmanship Standards.

-Interprets and evaluates products, processes and procedures through the use of schematic diagrams, sketches, drawings, layout, work instructions and quality operating procedures to ensure accuracy.

-Required to use measuring devices/inspection tools (Coordinated Measuring Machine (CMM), micrometers, gauges, scales, calipers, etc.) to verify specifications.

-Analyzes Data for trends, variations and errors.

-Provides input for process improvements and may occasionally lead improvement activities.

-SAP system familiarity and experience preferred.

-May be required to perform additional duties/responsibilities as trainer and mentor to other employees.

-Create, maintain CMM programs used to verify/validate specific parameters required by documentation or drawings.

**Required Skills**

-Demonstrates moderate assembly and problem solving techniques

-Demonstrates cooperating with others and fosters a teamwork environment along with the ability to work independently.

-Good communication skills

-Has a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)

**Physical Requirements**

-Able to lift/move heavy parts and/or equipment weighing up to 55 pounds.

**Education Requirement** :

-High School Diploma or equivalent
