Job Summary

Quality Management System (QMS)/Operational Excellence Support (OES) Coordinator serving as a matrix level leader in Quality Systems and Compliance supporting Melbourne site responsible for guidance, development and organization of Quality Assurance Technicians performing and/or leading internal and external audit/support to standards and regulations including AS9100, 14 CFR Part 21/145, EASA.145 and CCAR-145.

Job Responsibilities

AS9100/ISO9001 Compliance and Certification

* Provide Internal and Lead Auditor Training

* QMS/OES internal assessment and compliance support

* Lean Tools Mentor/Facilitator

* Manage MLB Site Corrective Action Activity - Initiate, Assign, Manage, Facilitate and Review ARs

* MLB Cell and Site Corrective Action Board (CAB) Facilitator

* MLB Site Quality Focal Point and Coordinator for ABS-QE Certification Activity

Customer Quality Plan Review and Response with Customer Quality

Management Review Coordination

Stop Ship/Material Stop Management

Service Bulletin Review/Approval

Awareness Bulletins/Production Alerts

Rockwell Collins Governance Council Policy Writing, Review and Approval

Coordinate Melbourne site review of proposed documentation changes

Communicate Documentation Changes to Melbourne Site

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience

U.S. citizen or permanent resident (green card) required

Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP

Must be a dedicated professional committed to providing a positive example, developing a positive culture and completing work on an agreed upon schedules

Must have flexible work schedule and may be required to work on off-hours and weekends

Must be able to read engineering/configuration drawings, work instructions

Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline. STEM degree preferred. In the absence of a bachelor's degree, six years of related experience and identified skills.

Five years of combined experience performing and/or leading internal and external audit/support to standards and regulations including AS9100, 14 CFR Part 21/145, EASA.145 and CCAR-145.
