Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a highly qualified, mission oriented individual to lead a team of cross-discipline specialist engineers located in Melbourne, FL, with responsibilities including (but not limited to) the following:





- Technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems



- Performing analyses at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal



- Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints



- Performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications



- Handling the System Requirements & Verification Functional Homeroom members



- Providing direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines & general policies. The section manager role is a 20% time role with the remainder dedicated to technical program support




**Basic Qualifications:**




+ A bachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics educational discipline from an accredited college/university

+ 5 years of engineering experience with a BS or3 years of engineering experience with an MS degree

+ Leading small to moderate sized team of technical employees

+ Having an active DoD secret or top secret clearance - one with an investigation completed within the past five years





**Preferred Qualifications** :






+ Possessing a master's degree and an active top-secret clearance
