This is an Occupational Grade "06" job in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Grade "06"duties for the "Technician/Administrative '" work category are at the Entry/Developmental work level.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander/director for administrative support programs to include but not limited to task management, cyber security liaison (CL), Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator, drug demand reduction program, health care program, fitness program, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program and unit recognition program.

### Responsibilities
* Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions.
* Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.
* Serves as a unit liaison to the military and civilian personnel offices.
* Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.

### Qualifications
***SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE***: Applicant must possess the quality level of experience at the next lower qualifying pay band or equivalent grade under the General Schedule (GS/GG) pay system or other pay systems, demonstrating quality in the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies to meet the requirements of this position. Knowledge of a body of standardized rules, procedures, or operations requiring considerable training and experience to perform the full range of standard clerical and non-clerical assignments and resolve recurring problems; and the skill, acquired through considerable training and experience, to operate and adjust varied equipment for purposes such as performing numerous standardized tests or operations. ***KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):*** Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.
2. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
3. Knowledge of security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information in a complex security environment.
4. Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.
5. Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and posses the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
**PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE**: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
**VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE**: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).
